1. What is a Brownie Camera?
It is a very basic cardboard box camera with a simple meniscus lens that took 2¼-inch square pictures on 117 rollfilm.
The name from the camera says that of a long-running popular series of simple and inexpensive cameras.

2. Who invented it, and when?

The first Brownie Camera came out in February in the 1900. The camera was make by Eastman Kodak.

3. How did it change society, and of course, the photography world?
The camera was really easy.  "You push the button, we do the rest'' that is the slogan from the camera. So that is why it was going in the photography world.
